My name is Katie, and I’m the owner and maker behind Searose Jewellery. Working from my home studio in Dinas Powys, I handcraft each piece of sterling silver jewellery with care and intention.

I began my silversmithing journey in 2019, teaching myself the skills I use today. Many of my designs feature sea glass I’ve collected with my partner and children along the shores of St Mary’s Well Bay in Penarth. Each piece of glass carries its own story, shaped by the sea before becoming part of my jewellery.

Sustainability is at the heart of my work—I take pride in creating unique, meaningful designs using recycled silver and sea glass which are delivered in eco-friendly packaging. 

On my Instagram, I share insightful reels filled with silversmithing tips and tricks, because I love teaching and inspiring others. I also give little glimpses into my personal life through stories—sharing my journey of running a business, moments with my beautiful family, and sneak peeks of the new pieces I’m working on.
